Telecasters have got to be the nicest looking guitars. Perhaps it is because that they were one of the first of their kind and so popular but no other guitar looks as good IMO.

Nice looking, yes. But, thanks to the cover of 'Damn the Torpedoes', I do have a soft spot for the classic Rickenbacker, too.

At the other end of the scale, Google the Gibson Corvus. What were they thinking?

I can't do with those guitars that poodle haired spandex metal bands use. The ones thatv stick out at all sorts of angles

before I got my tele I used my son's SG, which is nice, but the tele feels much nicer.
I love rickenbackers-the way they look and the way they sound: the first electric guitar was a rickenbacker.

So, any of you have youtube vids of yourselves playing? Or are you just casual tinkerers?

I did try to learn guitar quite a while back (read:20 years or so), and also dabbled with bass. Couldn't get the hang of either, although I got a bit further on bass.

I must admit, some of them are truly shocking to look at. But the sounds they make CAN be as good as any other.

Go to Google and type Kerpunk- our Facebook page should be at the top. There's a few vids etc of us on there.

I'm typing this on an iPad and don't know how to cut and paste

Just had a watch of some of the vids. Nice song choices, brings back memories from my younger days.

And your playing my home town tonight.

We've played that venue a few times and always go down well- last night was no different. Packed out, loads of dancing and singing along. I loved every second of it.
Bit deaf this morning as usual though...

The guy who used to be my department head has an Ibanez George Benson - see below. It's gorgeous!

Those Bo Diddley rectangular ones are just so wrong.
