It's not a project I'd want to take on.

Significant problems would need to be overcome.
It's not a project I'd want to take on.
Well I can well understand that you don't have the Challenge Anthea or the Fev rebuild stand zeal, you are a hard working man who may be struggling in the present continuing recession. There are however Eagles fans with skills and spare time, or they know someone who can, change an under used sports stadium into a Centre for Eagles continuing excellence. We need a central base, a club house, a meeting point, where fans can continue to enthuse about the team, build and progress support......

Rather than Woodbourne Road (another athletics stadium) maybe it might be worth someone at the Eagles approaching Richard Timms at Sheffield Club. They were on about building their own new smaller stadium (5,000 or 10,000) at Olive Grove. It has gone quiet recently on that front, perhaps they are struggling to raise the cash to build it, perhaps a joint venture with Sheffield Eagles could see it through to fruition??
I'ts no longer used as an athletic stadium as far as I know, just a bit of five aside football abuse is practiced there!!!!!
