None rugby related really but I see that Copeland council are closing the beacon and the civic hall and also cancelling the Xmas lights this year shame our tax dodging debt avoiding neighours didn't pay there money back to the council and keep those facilities going!

Maybe you should get your facts right before slinging the mud, nothing us happening until 2013, and only then after consultation, but you just believe what you read with your tinted glasses on.

Hang on HW are you saying this ain't gonna happen as this isn't how its being reported?
It's sad that councils can't manage with the governments cut backs. But CBC have wasted a huge amount of cash on bailing haven out and more recently the stadium among other things. The reality will probably be not as harsh as is being reported but you can't get on your high horse unless you can prove otherwise.

Copeland council have ballsed up a hell of a lot lately, and Haven are a big part of that. They have wasted incredible amounts of money on them, and they just walked away and started again leaving all debts unpaid and business`s massively out of pocket. A repugnant and morally bankrupt club, I wonder if the good tax payers of Copeland will now turn on them.

to be fair its happening all over esp in the north , all local councils are on the knees , the goverment av slashed millions of pounds to council budgets , and it will get worse ,

Some Haven fans are good at attacking CBC yet they seem to forget CBC has bailed out their beloved club on more than one occasion. They also seem to forget Copeland is more than just the town of Whitehaven.
