In todays press the death of Bill Drake has been announced.

Bill played for his hometown York in the late 60's towards the end of his career having played for Hull along side his brother Jim and later for Leeds.

A tough and hard forward, wish we had one like him for next season.

On behalf of the Knights Independent Supporters Club we express our sincere condolences to his family, The funeral is on Friday 19th October at York Crematorium at 11am.

Used to love watching Bill play for us, hard as nails but could play as well, R.I.P. Bill.

Joe Hemmings great uncle , his mum is a close friend of my wife , he was her uncle , was at school with his 2 sons , condolences to all
