All British and European TRLers have won the Nobel Peace Prize. Well done us! B)

Commiserations to our Antipodean members. Better luck next time.

Even better, it's made Nigel Farrago and his fellow oafs very upset. :D

And if any of them lot don't like it, then we'll step outside and settle it man to man.

It's magnificent. A very clever award and it's made many stupid people angry.

Oh, come on! There are people in places like, for instance, Warrington, who have worked their nuts off for this honour.

Do you reckon that this has come on the back of the Germans giving so much love to the Greek economy.

I had the fortune (good or otherwise) to be at school with him, I forget the actual lead up to it but I did reach the point of having a hand (or possibly hands) round his throat and a swift right jab to the chest followed.
This follows a family tradition, my father was at University with Bamber Gascoigne and punched him. He is equally vague on the detail.

:D You're not wrong.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

:D Excellent. Did you think that up yourself without conferring?

A good excuse for this anyway...

Funny to think that the panel on there are now very very famous yet were just extras then.

Surely you don't mean the "Footlights College" team?

For a start, "Kendal Mintcake" co wrote the series and I think the rest were reasonably well established actors.

They were hardly picked from the crowd.

Apologies if I've misunderstood.

Yeah I did mean them. Elton co-wrote it yes but at the time of broadcast hardly anyone knew who Fry & Laurie were, much less Emma Thompson.

Granted they had luvvie connections that helped them become famous but *at the time* they were unknowns.
