Bill Harrigan wants Benefit of the Doubt reviewed.
Benefit ot doubt nearly came off the rails in the 2012 season.
Frame by frame replays in almost stop motion from every conceivable angle to the nth degree brought about some 'doubtful' (incorrect) decisions on occasions. Sometimes just watching the incident a couple of times from the best angle at normal speed would probably lead to a common sense and more acceptable result.
Its too late to say sorry after the game when the outcome of the game may have been affected.

Given the number of angles now available to the Video Offical there should be no doubt

My point is the video refs go way beyond common sense. They examine the images in minute detail to the point where they lose oversight of the original move. Where they have examined everything and still can't be sure, before giving try benefit of the doubt they should just run the thing through again at normal speed and make sure their view is consistent with common sense.

Hate benefit of the doubt - should be yes I am convince he has scored - try otherwise no try - basically if you are not sure after the review with all the replays and camera angles - it is simple a no try call not a call that say benefit of the doubt - wouldn't have a thing like that in a court of law (not sure but he looks Ok - let him off
).
