Has he joined St George?
If so where does this leave his England career? I thought he said he was here to stay?

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Hope so and I hope he never soils the England shirt again.
Average player made to look good by the dross he played with at club level, no business playing for England, a, No England player should require a visa and b, He's just not good enough.
I'm sure the managers of the various bars at Xscape will be hoping he stays, He probably accounts for a significant portion of their sales bonus.

Two questions come to mind here.
Does a residential qualification lapse if a player is no longer resident?
If it is the case that he wont get his visa renewed how has he managed to play for England in the past? It seems his current visa only covers him to play for cas hence the collapse of the Hull move so presumably it wouldnt cover him to play for England. Do different rules apply for international games, i assume the players are paid so a visa would be required?

Pretty sure Sam Tomkins was up against him,at the time Sam was very unpopular with players over his cheating(holding arms/legs of players)which he has eliminated from his play since. So they did get it wrongSo all the players who, voted for him as man of steel got it wrong?
Idiot

This is a funny thread.
Twelve months ago the guy would have walked into nearly any team in the world and now he's rubbish? Give me a break.
As for those who didn't like him playing for England - I thought they had all finished with the game?

The intention was not to rubbish RC at all. I read on twitter that he had joined St George but couldn't find any confirmation anywhere.
It just struck me as at odds with what he said when picked for England last year.

Though with Matty Elliot now at NZ Warriors and looking for players, he may give him a once over

MOS is picked on opinion not yours or mine but the opinion of all the players n they chose in there own opinion that rangi chase was the best player they had either played with or against in that season end of.Should never have won MOS
And for those that say he only got it because players disliked tomkins are fools it was a 3 horse race n wasnt the 3rd player roby? Then they must dislike roby aswel do they?

But if he has visa issues will he get back in the UK?he'll still be eligible for england selection even if he goes to st george
I thought it was stretching it a bit to select him but if he was remaining in the UK, then maybe it could be justified. This suggests it might not be so straightforward.

Can't believe some of the bile being thrown at Rangi Chase simply because he played for England (and it is just that).
He got picked for MOS by his peers in a three horse race. Regardless of whether people think Tomkins should have been it or not, that still makes him ate sat the second best player that year. That makes him significantly better than average. He got voted above Roby, that makes him class.
He got into the Opta team of the year in 2012 after only playing half of the season. He literally carries Cas. He is not average by any definition, and he'd get into ANY team in the league, even better than established stars like McGuire and Briers.
So for anyone calling him average, you really need to put up a far better argument than "he looks good because Cas are cr**.
He shouldn't have been picked for England because he needs a visa to work in this country. We now have the embarrassing situation where he's going to be kicked out of the country he's represented!
If he was actually English, people wouldn't be saying half the things they have about him.
