I don't see it as a bad thing ref, it might suit some people and not others. I don't think most of the clubs have made as much money as they thought they might with bigger attendances. On the other hand we've had a terrible summer weather wise, so that might be why, I might be a traditionalist but I prefer my rugby September to March time, but there again like I said I have other things going on.

Marauders has stated on many occasions that the idea and format is good, the only problem is player/committee/referee/touch judge/supporter availability'This topic started at 10.03am, my guess is that Marauder has been typing his response furiously ever since!!!
We had the same problems that NCL clubs have been suffering this season, however it took five seasons before it displayed it's ugly head at our club and we had players to call on from; Moorends, Doncaster toll Bar, Ackworth, Doncaster RUFC, Thornensians RUFC, Wheatley Hills RUFC & Local Football players. On a training night we had between 45 and 55 training every session but on match day we could get between 14 and 44 turning up for a game.
Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.<div align='center'></div>

Bad thing because its ripped the heart and soul out of the amatuer game and caused wider divisions than was already there.
Probably the final nail in the coffin of the national cup which gave the opportunity of the " pub teams " to have a go at the NCL and cause a few upsets .
But at least we can stand in the warm rain so its not all bad.
