Not a rumour. No doubt the Yorkshire mafia (better known as the Rfl/barla or whatever) will give the game to. Seacroft and Halton moor pit bull breaders. After all the scouse did have the audacity to try to beat themBrawl involving players and speccies. Thatto allegedly given escort onto motorway.

I thought East Leeds were winning, how long was their remaining when it got abandoned? was it abandoned because of a brawl on the pitch? is their a rule that dictates the result depending on how long had been played? very little seems to have been said about this. If you were there Bostik could you enlighten us, looking forward to the final, but i think St Judes will win whoever gets through, just my opinion.

I wasn't there but the facts as I understand them are, at the point of abandonment the score was 22-20 to East Leeds, Thatto Heath had just scored and had a conversion to come under the sticks and also a further attempt at goal via a penalty for use of the knees by an East Leeds on the Thatto Heath player in the act of scoring.

There is a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday to sort everything out.

Oof, that's a tough one to sort out.

Thatto heath scored, scorer was flopped on in the act of scoring.Another east leeds player came in fists flying, brawled ensued, all players involved. Some spectators entered the field of play to join in fighting, referee abandoned game, discussed the situation with both sides and confirmed the game was abandoned because he could not gaurantee the safety of players.
Both sides and travelling speccies were escorted to the dressing rooms, approx 5mins away. The thatto players and spectators immediatly boarded the coach and left the area with police escort.
Disciplinary meeting tonite after which announcements will be made.

It is difficult to stand by whilst a 20-30 year old starts to lay into a 16 year old, so whilst what you say is true, it's not the entire picture.info from someone who was there,
The ref abandonded the match after the Thatto Heath try that would have (probably)put them in the lead because he could guarenttee the Thattos Heath players' saftey. The Thatto lads then said that they wanted walk off with the East leeds lads, together to show no hard feelings etc. So this happened.
Thatto Heath want to re-play the game they don't want a walkover/bye whatever, they want the team that gets to the final tot get there on merit, but the don't want to play it back at East leeds.
