Wests Tigers have announced Mick Potter as their new NRL coach on a two-year deal.

I Think it is at the moment with regards to the Tigers - for Potter it is a case of out of the frying pan into the fire - big names leaving / Sheen wanting a large amount of money (reducing signing pot of money) / players not really happy etc. etc.

The big names leaving, one back to the UK the other 2 will be no loss to Potter, the Sheens saga has probably helped his cause, the Tigers seem to be run by an old fashioned Parochial Committee (RFL Model) The Players were not happy with Sheens neither were the Fans looking at their Forum, also in said Forum the majority seem in favour of Mick! He's got a tough ask ahead of him but he won't have the pressure he had to endure at Bradford and is more than capable of taking the Tigers forward!

Good luck to him. The Tigers underperformed big time in 2012. Potter could just be the man to give them the kick up the pants they need.
If anyone deserves success Mick Potter does.
