Brett's just scored for Scotland taking 3 defenders over with him.

The bad news is Brett Carter has just left the field to applause with a possible dislocated shoulder!!!!!!!!!!

on sky sports it says Phillips scored?

Latest news: - Brett Carter has said on Twitter that his shoulder is sore but no dislocation.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

All i can say to that is, bret has a very well paid job at sellafield, now does he pack in and go to SL? What if it doesn't work out for him?
Similar situation to matty, why he has never went to SL

A great quote by Dave Rotherham about yesterday’s match …“A lot of players played their way into World Cup contention today,” said Rotherham. “We might not play anyone as good as that at the World Cup so we can take loads from that display.” Well done our two lads, next season will certainly confirm your International places.
I’m sure some of the rest of the Town Squad are worthy of consideration as well. What about the developing talents of: Karl Mc Olstrum, Kris MacCoward,
Marc Mc Shackley ,John Mc.Patrick, Elliot McMiller, Jason McMossop, Graeme MacAttinson, Daniel McRooney, Jonathan McDawes and that stereotypical Scot …..Ryan MacMac…MacDonald!
