I'm that bored I'm off to bed. Its freezing tonight!

I often find listening to the radio is a good cure for boredom. However, listening to the Today Programme this morning has filled me with much puzzlement. Owen Paterson, the extremely pompous Environment Secretary, is banning the import of diseased ash trays from Denmark - who knew? Furthermore, on being quizzed about his attitude to climate change he stated that they can extract energy from anaerobic digesters! Now I'm no scientist but most of those problem eaters can barely stand up let alone power a light bulb. I'm only glad that thanks to that bloke from Queen I can still wear my Tufty Club button! Puzzled!!!

If you're in the Sheffield area, get yourself down to Fargate and visit the market. It is also the weekend of Fright Night.

Never get bored with life as it's too precious to waste. Now aged 55, a friend of mine doesn't recognise anyone due to her illness and is now looked after in a care home. Get out of life what you can while you can.
That said, the Saints did put in some boring performances last season.

1. Turn the Rugby Union off.Any ideas?
2. Walk to the Anvil and have copious amounts of ale.
3. Set off for the DW Stadium, having first set your stopwatch.
4. Reach the visitors' end turnstiles. Check how long has passed since leaving the Anvil.
5. Add 5 minutes to allow for paying in and finding seat.
6. Store calculation result in memory for future reference when unwitting away fan asks how long it takes to get to ground.
"I don't see what all the fuss is about. I mean, it's only fair after last year isn't it? Look Neil, just for you, I've put my best Rovers' tie on today in the hope it'll go some way to make up for it. Oh, by the way, Jon sends his regards."

What if they ask what time do you leave for the match though?

You helpfully say, "We cut it a bit fine so you might want to set off a bit earlier".What if they ask what time do you leave for the match though?
