Ulverston avenged a previous defeat by beating a big Bamber Bridge side and whilst doing so ensured they cannot be caught in the league.
Well done fellas. Top effort CHAMPIONS 2012

Good effort by Ulverston 1st team winning the league, no matter what level you are playing at the league table doesn't lie come the end of the season.
It will be interesting how many of Ulverston '1st team' players will now play for their A team over the coming weeks, the last two games for Walney 'A' last season were both against Ulverston 'A' who played 6 and 8 first teamers respectively.

Pretty much the full last years under 16s have come up to the open age this year and have been playing for the a team so far this season. Most of them have already had a game for the 1st team. There will be a couple of 1st team players playing to help out are you going to complain about that? You say that there were 6 and 8 respectively were they marked on the team sheet or are they players you are assuming are 1st team players? I'm not denying the use of 1st team players just the amount we as a club would never drop a player who has been playing a team all season for a 1st team player.Good effort by Ulverston 1st team winning the league, no matter what level you are playing at the league table doesn't lie come the end of the season.
