One of the founders of South Wales Scorpions RLFC sadly passed away in the last 24 hours. John Brennan, a club director, had been suffering from cancer and had fought it for the best part of a year. When Phil Davies founded South Wales Scorpions, John was the first person he asked to assist him knowing he was an RL fan. He didn't come alone. The whole Brennan family have been involved. Andrea, John's wife, looks after all the hospitality, while his daughters Holly and Cassie sell programmes and carry out gate duties. We'll all miss him around the club. He went to most away matches in the first couple of years of the club too. Our first club passing. Sad times. RIP mate.

The man was a fan like we all are, it was a great pleasure to have known and speak to him about the game and our club.
