Oh dear, have all the decent SL clubs been taken up? How embarrising to be twinned with a club that finished bottom of the league, would rather stay independant. Be better off twinning with Feverstone !! Least Whitehaven have Saints !

town4me, Oracle is a Barrow fan.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Not from us David they just want a Hooker and forward to complete there squad. It's us getting players off them, not the other way around.

Only if they sign them like any other club would. Say, if they wanted matty the would have to pay town for him, they can't just come and pluck a registered town player from our squad. The main idea is to keep the fringe players from the sl club active by sending them up here for game time. I don't think we have any worries of our players going to Widnes

Not trying to wind you boys up here but i would be worried about miller and phillips getting tapped up by widnes with them being young lads i know thet,re on good contracts but theres usually clauses allowing you to move on to SL
