The London Broncos have taken two players recently involved in the Alitalia European Cup on one month trials.
John O’Donnell, 19, joins pre-season training with the Broncos first team from Wigan Warriors having played for Ireland in the Alitalia Cup, O’Donnell plays centre. Meanwhile Alex Hurst, 21, joins from Swinton Lions having been involved with Scotland in the same competition. Hurst can play at centre or full-back.
Both players joined the club for the start of pre-season training and could be offered contracts depending on their performances in training according to head coach Tony Rea.
“We’ve welcomed the two players to the club for pre-season training. They are here for a month for us to take a look at them,” said Tony Rea.
“If their efforts warrant a position then we’ll extend it. We’ll make a decision this month whether they are here for the season or not."
The Broncos started pre-season training last Thursday November 1.

I feel that if O'Donnell if hired by the Broncos it will be a season long loan deal. Don't know about Hurst.
Wish them and the Broncos all the best.
