Hopefully with a good pre-season behind him we will see a much better Calderwood next season.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

I beleave that town where also in talks with a local top amateur and from what i have heard would rather had him than calderwood because with miller and jonathan dawes we have two better wingers.

i wouldn't be too confident of J Dawes playing this year, from what i heard his recovery hasn't been straightforward.

Believe me I have spoken to the lad as recently as last week and he is nowhere near playing again. His operation did not go well.
5 times in a calender year!

hmmm. with a pre season behind him and if we utilise his finishing he could prove to be a good signing.

i think Calders will show some good form next season, provided we can supply him with the right ball and field position.
