I've had my first look at Probiz's website and can't see "tax avoidance for the rich" quoted anywhere. All accountants don't just offer savings on tax or let's say advice on how to use tax allowances as being a better description. Probiz's wil have a far wider remit than that simple, false remit. Many people who are either setting up their own business or already have their own business are very inexperienced in what they know about the very complex tax rules and regulations in this country. Probiz are doing nothing illegal.
I'd be quite happy with Probiz within RL circles if only to guide and advise some of the clubs through what they can and can't do tax-wise if it helps them run a better business model and avoids some of the financial meltdowns we've seen recently. I'd also be happy for them to guide RL clubs through what has to be done regarding image rights for example.

Well the feeder clubs won't have to worry about tax avoidance three years from now as their teams will be full of players who are paid by SL clubs. Good luck to them.

i don't think we should worry about probiz Terry. does the fact that they provide this service make them any worse than the companies and individuals(many of them sportsmen) who use this service. both man u, and mclaren mercedes have taken sponsorship from vodafone who take advantage of tax management, which i must stress is not illegal. a fact i found on google, a company which also uses tax management. but at least i was drinking a mug of dowe egberts at the time, and not starbucks. i have to admit also, that i cannot bring myself to bin my kindle loaded with its 70 books, because it was supplied by amazon. neither do i switch the tv off when the news is being read by newsreaders who's contracts have them represented as companies instead of workers, so as to pay less tax. as for politicians who rule our lives, well, the less said the better. it's a minefield isn't it.

But in any case, you are either too dim or too dishonest to pick up the actual point, and thst id the self serving selective morality of you and your like.

You are happy to invoke morality when it suits, yet keep quiet when it doesn't

On the issue of morality Old Rover, how about the birth of SL Europe as a limited company? Established as a stand alone body separated from the RFL for the sole purpose of negotiating all of the Sky sponsorship for themselves. No wonder Sid and Doris became a little upset.

what are yout views on the morality of tax evasion by the wealthy?

I'm really not sure how SL as a limited country is out of order, but if it is it pales in comparison to depriving trhe country of billions in taxes.
