England’s last full international before the 2013 Rugby League World Cup is firing the imagination of Rugby League fans across the North West with the RFL recording brisk business ahead of the match against France at Salford City Stadium on (this) Sunday (November 11, 5.00).
Just 500 seating tickets remain unsold (yesterday)for the final of the 2012 Autumn International Series and supporters are being advised to move quickly to secure their seat for what will be a celebratory night for the England team.
England booked their place in the final with impressive wins against Wales and this weekend’s opponents, France, and fans have responded to the form of Steve McNamara’s team in increasing numbers.
“There is a real sense among Rugby League supporters that England are standing on the edge of something special and we have been delighted by the demand for tickets for Sunday’s final,” said RFL Communications Director Niel Wood.
“Victory on Sunday would be the perfect way for England to sign off 2012 as we head for a World Cup year and it promises to be a memorable night for everyone at Salford’s superbly-appointed new stadium.
“With just a few hundred seats left unsold I would advise anyone who has not yet done so to purchase their ticket as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets for the final of the 2012 Autumn International Series cost just £12 for adults and £6 for concessions and can be purchased by calling 0844 856 1113 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk
