Anyone know the england side?

1. Lewis Sheridan (Wigan St Cuthberts)
2. Josh Adu-Dwamaa (Leigh East)
3. Matthew Gee (Orrell St James)
4. Tom Battye (Normanton Knights)
5. Nathan Lawrence (Dewsbury Celtic)
6. Karl Dixon (Wath Brow Hornets)
7. Josh Ward (Leigh Miners Rangers)
8. Ethan Kelly (Millom)
9. Nathan Lucock (Glasson Rangers)
10. Ben Breheny (Wigan St Judes)
11. Ian Cunrow (Wath Brow Hornets)
12. Leon Tatlock (Thatto Heath Crusaders)
13. Perry Singleton (Barrow Island)
14. Joe Batchelor (Dewsbury Celtic)
15. Charlie Tomlinson (Wath Brow Hornets)
16. Jack Connor (Saddleworth Rangers)
17. Alex Calvert (Barking & Dagenham Bulldogs)

Incidentally, if anyone's interested in the upcoming AIS tour, they play two games in France, then play Wales at The Gnoll on Nov 28th, England at Stanningley on Dec 2nd, and GB Community Lions at Hemel on Dec 7th. More info on the AIS squad (now coached by Brad Drew) and the full itinerary found at this site:- http://www.ourfootyt...om/ais_news.php

leon tatlock is a tremendous prospect, i have watched him quite a few times at crusader park.
"Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply.

Then who should be behind the bid?? Father Christmas??

And in retrospect do you say that Celtic Crusaders should never have been given a Superleague place??

everyone with half a brain parky knows that crusaders were promoted far too early, they should have built on wahat they had started and then apply from a stronger position. but as regarding maxwell i know many cru fans who said from the start that he was the wrong type of person to run a rugby club, in the future i can see a strong team emerging froom wales to take a super league place.

Is that a typical Welsh match report, no mention of an English player?

worth noting the Welsh side were drawn from Professional / SL Academy sides , the England side were drawn from BARLA sides

Noticed with Perry playing. Still a good victory for Wales though and shows they are improving.

It was a community side but looking at the close result it was ideally pitched, competition wise. I'm sure an SL U18s side nor the Welsh guys would ve got any more out of it.

I know our sole representative enjoyed the day and chance to put on an england shirt, we as a club ( B&D Bulldogs) were thrilled at his inclusion too!

Regardless of what the result actually tells us yet internationally I'm sure the day was a highlight for 34 young lives!

great result for wales, since crusaders first dallience with the pro game, rl has really begun to take off all over the principality and looks like it is getting stronger by the year. hopefully the next time that a welsh club is promoted to super league there will be no leighton maxwell style chancers behind the bid. i have said for many years that the rfl should concentrate on wales as a development and expansion area and it is hopefully beginning to bear fruit.

Sadly it's gone backwards in the last couple of seasons. Open age community rugby was stronger before Crusaders rather than after. Junior rugby might be a different story.

How can this be? I've seen comments elsewhere on this forum on how the Welsh will never beat England and how a GB side is pointless because it'll just be England wearing a different shirt.

Well done Wales and keep the development going.

Give them time, right now none of these lads would get near the GB squad and why would they?

Some of these lads will make it in the pro game and some might compete for a hypothetical GB shirt but right now there aren't any Welsh players good enough.

 Good one that. They should have "built" in the Championship should they?

Not used their rich owner to go straight to Superleague and come bottom on disappointing crowds. Oh the irony.......

At least Widnes won't be relocating three hours drive away in their second season and then withdrawing their bid for a new SL licence.

Has to be done;is he related to Albert Tatlock, the flying Flimby and Fothergil winger form the 30's.
