COME ON DOWN TO HEWORTH ARLFC FOR YORKSHIRE’S DOUBLE HEADER

All roads lead to Elmpark Way, Heworth, York on Sunday 18th November the home of Heworth ARLFC for game two of the BARLA Counties Tri Series which features a double header when Yorkshire ARL Under 19’s entertain Cumbria ARL Under 19’s kick off 1.00pm, and Yorkshire ARL welcome last year’s BARLA County Tri Series Champions Cumbria 2.45pm kick off.

For both Yorkshire sides it will be their final game of the series after losses in game one when the Under 19’s went down to current champions Lancashire 48-10 and the Open Age side lost 42-18 to Lancashire, their first loss to the ‘Red rose’ county for ten years.

Both sides will be going out with something to prove and restore pride in the Yorkshire shirt and register a victory over their Cumbria rivals.

Yorkshire ARL will be selecting from the squad that served them well in their game against the South Sydney Juniors two months ago which includes Adam Sellars of York Acorn. Crucially missing from the squad and selection are Myton Warriors duo Kris Walker and Ricky Hough who will be playing in the NCL Grand Final against Wath Brow Hornets which is pitched on the same day.

The Yorkshire Squads:

YORKSHIRE ARL:
Pat Foulstone (Dewsbury Celtic), Jack Ridsdill (West Hull), Mike Johnson (Skirlaugh), Keiron Murphy (Hunslet Old Boys, Stuart Smith (Skirlaugh), Adam Sellars (York Acorn), Tom Moorby (Driglington), Danny Rouse (Castleford Lock Lane), Carl Puckering (East Hull), Zak Johnson (Westgate Warriors), Tommy Harrison (West Hull), Tom Richardson (West Hull), Chris Vogel (Wibsey Warriors), Dave Render (Skirlaugh), Scott Mountain (Skirlaugh), James Delaney (Dewsbury Moor), Lee Cator (East Hull), Jon Eccles (Hull Dockers), Jamie Fields (Hunslet Old Boys), Darren Bunby (Hull Dockers), Tom Saunders ( Hunslet Old Boys).

YORKSHIRE ARL UNDER 19’S:
Jamie Hodgkinson (West Hull), Ged Goddard (Eastmoor Dragons), Declan Tomlinson (East Leeds), Dan Cure (West Hull), Jacob Parker (West Hull), Mason Bailey (Thornhill Trojans), Tom Halloran (Dewsbury Celtic), Ryan Kelsey (Normanton Knights), Billy Grimmer (Skirlaugh), Jorge Fairbank (Elland), Troy Anderson (Driglington), Travis Jones (Skirlaugh), Matt Faulkner (Holderness Vikings), Adam Guthrie (West Hull), Tom Hall (Elland), Callum Lane (West Hull), Ged Carter (Skirlaugh), Will Milner (Castleford Panthers), Scott Collinson, (West Hull).

It should be great entertainment and great value with admission at £3 adults, £1 concessions.
