I think it would create more interest if the exiles team could draw on all the talent in the comp. i would be far more interested in that. it would also help as a trial if ever we get GB back

i disagree. i think widening the selection pool for the exiles game makes it more of a test and also creates way more interest. i also think the Celtic nations players would benefit from being involved in this.

look....bringing back GB won't help the celtic players.....cos none of them would get selected....they'll just opt for england like they do now...and stillmiss out on selection.


making celtic players eligible for the exiles won't help cos a) it does'nt fit in with the exile cos they are'nt bloody exiles lol....and none would get selected anyway...

wales,scotland & ireland need to do whats best for THEM!, they need to knock their own heads together and come up with something that suits THEM!!...latching onto the exiles won't help...and latching on to england to form GB won't help cos any GB team will be made up of 17 englishmen..

a celtic tigers team for welsh,scots & irish players....that would tour and maybe play off with france for 4nations spots,the celtic nations would still compete separately in mid,post season games, would benefit the celtic nations....as well as helping the celtic nations retain & recruit players!

We have too many random and crappy ideas involved within RL. We should keep things simple, give them time, stop changing boundaries, ideas, goal posts and allow our game to grow. I feel it won't be long until the Exiles will be stopped and another idea comes along. We are a stop start sport and this has allowed RU to overtake ourselves in many facets. Simplify and allow things to grow is the way forward.

if they (the RFL) wanted or envisaged the celts & french to be involved with the exiles they should have been called the "other nationalities" like they originally where...


and the "celtic tigers" may seem a crappy & random idea to us english RL fans............thats cos it's sod all to do with us or our development
