Its a great idea.If it takes off it could pay for the lights itself Looks good for all the business people of the town. Getting quite a lot for their money. Could we not introduce a semi vice president scheme for the people who can't afford £3000. Just a thought thats all

A vice vice president Livo....hmmmm cant beat a bit of vice or 2

Just an idea, but how about raffling one of these tickets at say £2 a shot and once we have sold 1,500 tickets (£3,000) a winner is drawn, if successful nothing stopping it being an on going raffle. May take a month, two or three wouldn't really matter just drawn once we have collected the value of the ticket. I would certainly buy one or two tickets at each game.

I like the idea personally of a big raffle. Have the prize as 20% of the amount of money raised. If you keep it going all season take it too away games ect keep advertising it will build up pretty quickly, you can then use the big prize which would of been built up over the season to sell more and more. Then do the draw at the last home game of the season.

I personally Like both ideas.
i cant afford the current 3000 but if i could i would definately be signing up.
i would definitely by a ticket each game and am sure many other people would join in this process.
we could even consider selling the tickets ourselves via work etc if coordinated properly.
this Could create a lot of interest and much needed revenue...

• The title of Barrow RFC Vice President – names to be permanently displayed in the Lewthwaite Suite or other suitable location.
• A 10 Year Season Ticket (Current Value (£1,500).

• Use of a Hospitality Box for up to 10 persons for two matches during their 10 year membership (Current Value £700).

I agree with Livo. £3000 may stretch a lot of people. How about a ten year season ticket only, (no other perks)
for £1200. ( £1000 for seniors )
I am sure it would get a lot of interest.

Outstanding idea, obviously can't afford it myself but if I had the money I'd certainly buy one.

Ten year season ticket sounds good. I know a lot of people who still couldn't afford the £1200 in one go. Why couldn't the club introduce some kind of savings club to pay for the ticket. But they only have till the end of the season coming. That way money is being generated for the lights. That way they would have a 10 year season ticket for the 2014 season.

A 10 year payment plan would take away the point oif the excercise as the idea is to bring cash into the coffers now

Is there any nicely printed leaflets with all the details on regarding the "THE VICE PRESIDENTS SCHEME" which could be dropped through letter boxes of businesses in Cumbria. Not everyone goes on the forum or the Raiders website..
