The BBC had a bit of a mini "Dad Rock" weekend, seemingly without telling anyone about it - there was an AC/DC concert on BBC4 on Friday night as well.

The best TV channels to watch bands on is Sky Arts 1 and 2. Coming up this week amongst others are concerts by New Order, Ray Davies, Roy Orbinson, Rolling Stones, Rush and the 2012 Rewind Festival of '80's music

nah it was the original line up of plant , page, jones+ bonhams son on drums, not keen when bands reform but this was fantastic, i thought plants voice would have gone but not a bit of it.Saw em at Earls Court in 75. AC/DC on at River Plate Argentina with about 200,000 screaming Argies was just unreal with that crowd as well. They not a fake Led Zep though Steve?

Brudenhall is fantastic
seen sham 69,the rezillos there this year
well worth a visit and dont be put off either
with a thought of a trip to hyde park
you can park in the venue carpark meaning
you dont even have to interact with the surrounding dross.
happy daze

I was at both of those gigs Coolie , loved both gigs two great nights.
Taxi rank at the side of the Brudenell car parks handy too.
Best venue in Leeds, along with cheap beer, happy daze indeed
Next gig for me there The Ruts Friday 15th March 2013.
