Club Legend Fred Ward Passes Away

The club is saddened to hear that former player-coach Fred Ward passed away on Tuesday. Fred was responsible for resurrecting the fortunes of the Hunslet club in the 60's and is regarded as a legend by all supporters both new and old.

More terribly sad news.Fred was loose forward and Captain / Player Coach of the great Wembley ,65 side.Thats Bernard Prior, Geoff Shelton and now Fred all gone in the last 6 month. r.i.p. Fred
