I'm happy about this, Carl played some good stuff towards the back end of last year, and if we can get a consistent partner for him this year I think he'll step up to the plate

I agree with everyone else's comments about Carl. He played some good rugby at the back end of the season and his kicking game improved.
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Cover for injury at this level . A few decent performances late but couldn't take the lower league by the scruff and dominate in the main , and this is gonna be off the scale this year compared to that . Need pace , skill and killer kicking game to stay afloat and propel us on in this key spot in the team . Don't doubt you need a squad though , so ok for that.

i think Carls a useful addition to the squad and he deserves a contract for his performances towards the end of last season, but we need to sign a strike player at halfback.

I'm pleased Carl has signed back on, he changed my opinion of him with the way he played at the end of the season.
I'm sure some more new faces are around the corner.
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

will be a good squad player but I.M.O we need a stronger first choice at 6&7 in this tougher league.

I think we all know we lack a bit of flair and creativity at times, hopefully another signing or two will address this issue

We might just have that little bit of flair and creativity with Callum Phillips among the backs ???.
