They have also been hiding it away on Radio 4. Who listens to that? It's dreadful the way the BBC are covering this up by having it as the main headline and giving space for Nigel Farage to respond.

If only there was a way the good people of Rotherham could show their views on this coming up soon.
If Labour in Rotherham put up a bunch of Donkeys as candidates, the burghers would vote them in. Eh, up...they did, and they did! 58 of them.
Still , on the main point....

The local party got quite upset when the new candidate was dropped on them. Respect could do them some damage here.If Labour in Rotherham put up a bunch of Donkeys as candidates, the burghers would vote them in. Eh, up...they did, and they did! 58 of them.
Still , on the main point....

What right does Rotherham Council have to take this political cleansing action just because the foster parents were members of a properly constituted and perfectly legal political party that as a number of democratically elected representatives. They have played right into the hands of Nigel Farrage.

Is UKIP a racist party? It certainly sails close to the wind.
By doing what?

wouldn't that make it a nautical party?

Totally agree.

At SOME time? With fostering/adopting broadening such as same sex partners able to do so, this is walking on a tightrope and will backfire at some point. I wonder if it will be brought up on Question Time?
How about immediately?
UKIP are a bunch of borderline nutters and Farage was certainly at least receptive to the views of the NF and BNP in earlier days but they are a genuine political party, membership of which is immaterial to the couple's suitability as Foster parents.
The same would apply to the Communist party, Socialist Workers party, Green Party or Natural Law party.

2, Thacker contradicted herself on TV. She said, or seemed to say that they were not allowed to ask what party the foster parents belonged to, but then the first question they were asked by her staff was " are you members of UKIP.
3. She is probably in a difficult position wedged between a dominant Labour party, her duties, and this: http://www.bbc.co.uk...kshire-19701760
4. see here, too. http://labour-uncut....y-with-culture/
4. Still wrong, though.

Absolutely hilarious response from Farage, accusing others of "appalling prejudice" without any hint of irony whatsoever.
I'm not a great fan of the public persona of Nigel Farage, but I assume you are suggesting that he is guilty of "appalling prejudice" himself. Can you expand on that? In what way is he appallingly prejudiced, and against what and/or whom?
