After Joel Moon defected from Salford to Leeds, the Salford coach Phil Veivers said....

" He said he was homesick. I havn't checked the map but I presume Leeds must be closer to Sydney than Salford is"

On QI last night Stephen Fry asked the question;

"What travels at 40 mph and smells of curry."

Quick as you like one panel member said, "Usain Balti."

Also yesterday on Pointless the contestants had to identify people whose surnames were girl's names. One pair guessed at a photo and said it was the golfer ...... Casey, he was wrong as it was Justin Rose. He said all his workmates would be taking roses into work next week to rib him. How Alexander Armstrong resisted saying what would they bring in if his name had been Virginia I don't know!!!

"Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, ask yourself if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future".

War doesn't decide who is right, just who is left!
