We knew it was coming, but its still a shock to see it in writing - not a fixture list to attract the floating fan.
Also lots of blank weeks in addition to Byes (April 7, 21, May 19th, July 21, August 25th)
I realise the first two will be cup rounds, I am guessing May 19th is for trains cup QF and aug 25th is cup final but some of these still risk losing continuity in the minds of supporters.
4 home games in the first 4 months of the season! Best hope for home tie(s) in the cup and still something to play for in August. Give me a home game every other week in a winter season - I suspect the accountants might agree. Best hope for two home cup ties.
Any thoughts of offering partial season tickets (four games for the price of three say, or buy a four game pack and get a trains cup game free) for fans whom might not be willing/able to commit to full season because of holidays or other august commitments.

Hope our away form proves to be good and home form more consistent than Dale's. 6 weeks in June/July without a home game is ridiculous, for the fans and the club's finances. Partly due to ground work at Spotland? Nice to finish with 4 consecutive home games.....if all goes to plan and interest is maintained.

Its the only Bl**dy pitch in the world that needs relaying every year, with the amount of attention that pitch gets we should be able to hold a snooker final on it !! B*llsh*t

Oldham away, Crusaders away,Skolars and Gateshead at home.We will do well to win this group.Crusaders away with Gaz Middlehurst should be a cracker. One of our best away days, very noisy crowd, and a great pub just outside.

noisy until we started winning and the small number of hornets fans totally out sang them ,and are these not the same fans who were calling Gary a thug last season and should be banned foreverOldham away, Crusaders away,Skolars and Gateshead at home.We will do well to win this group.Crusaders away with Gaz Middlehurst should be a cracker. One of our best away days, very noisy crowd, and a great pub just outside.

They also gave us a very decent gate at Spotland over 650 i think.Just below the Oldham derby. One of the few clubs who have a good away support, and more than us.
