I think you could probably get closer to 45k for Wembley. Only 2 x sections in the lower tier have a number of seats level available and 2/3 of Club Wembley are sold out. Throw in good sales in the £20 bracket on the top tier so far and will give a truer figure. Cardiff is around the same total as well.

Just noticed this message from the RLWC 13 team on facebook:

"Hi everyone. Thanks for all the replies. We understand how passionate you are about Rugby League and RLWC2013, but please allow us to address some of your comments. These images (posters in Wigan) do not reflect all of the work being done to promote the tournament, and are merely intended as an example of recent activity close to our office at MediaCityUK in Salford. We are reaching a national audience, we are telling new people about RLWC2013 and we are attracting new supporters to matches - and the ticket sales stats we have back that up. We've sold more tickets for The Big Hit double header of semi-finals at Wembley on November 23 to people in London and the South East than any other region, and a record number of people currently not on the RFL's ticketing database are buying tickets to matches. We've been on the London Underground, we took over Trafalgar Square, we've been to Downing Street and we've been endorsed by London Mayor Boris Johnson. Our PR work has brought as a regular presence in the London Evening Standard, the Daily Mail and other national newspapers. We've been on the Chris Evans Show and we're regularly on Talk Sport. We're in talks with The One Show, we'll be on Blue Peter ahead of the tournament, and many other national TV shows. There is physical advertising in every host city, including Bristol, London, Manchester and Limerick, and we're currently filming a TV advert. And even all of this is just the tip of the iceberg! We've achieved a lot within our budget. Five of the seven sections at Old Trafford for The Final on November 30 are all but sold out and ticket sales at our other games are strong. We realise we're not everywhere, but we are working hard and we are getting results. Thanks, RLWC2013"

Both the Sun* and Metro feature an article, albeit a small one, on the selection of the Burgess boys, both with a photo, which is more than we usually get. Saw a tweet from Nigel Wiskar last night saying the Mirror was carrying a decent sized story on the Burgess brothers also.

* I didnt buy the Sun, found it on the tube.

I think the Hudds one is too low as well.

Only single tickets left in the Britannia Stand and one small section left in the John Smiths Stand, the second tier on the other GP end.

In the Direct Golf stand only the top tier is closed, with the rest sold out, and the top tier of the opposite end to the JS stand only has the top tier to sell - some of the sections are only allowing single ticket sales.

And one of their hospitality categories has sold out.

I imagine Hudds is more like 20,000

Is anyone else still waiting for tickets to arrive? I ordered 9 pairs and I've received them all except the pair for the ENG v IRE game. They were ordered at the same time I ordered some of the other ones but they didn't come with them.

Yeh I'm sure I heard the same I hope so because the Rochdale people really have got behind this game and put some genuine effort to get a good crowd and they fully deserve a sell out crowd, any ideas on the likes of Salford, Halifax ect not heard out

Yes, maybe we should have gone for a much smaller venue to make it look better for the TV. The game at Salford, Scotland v USA, I think, might also fit into this category. I think it will be lucky to hit 5,000 so lway less than half capacity.

I've just booked myself a ticket for that. #209 in the North stand yesterday. Another 45 seem to have been sold in the last 24 hours in that stand

I ordered 2 for the final, then amended my order and added another 10 and got all 12 moved to a different row. The 2 have arrived, but the 10 haven't.

Looking at the website, I would say at least 1/2 of all tickets have been sold.  I don't know the capacity but this must mean about 6000-7000 sold already

Tried WH Smith in Bridge St, Westminster and then at Leeds rail station and neither had it.
