Great win for the Marlins in a very good game with the result in doubt until the final whistle. Pilkingtons scrum half Danny Lynch scored a under the post to give Pilks the lead on 77mins18-16 But Martin Loveridge levelled the scores with a penalty goal for the Marlins on 78 minutes MoM Josh Parle then got the winning drop goal on the 79 minute mark. Pilkington Rec tried to level the scores but their attempt at a drop goal went wide. Pilkingtons will be a great addition to the NCL next Season. Great Day for all the Leeds clubs. With both East Leeds and Hunslet Old Boys plus the Marlins who now join Leeds Met in the 2nd round, which other clubs are in the draw for the 2nd round ?

Millom v Blackbrook game cancelled both teams travelled to Askam to play but the game was cancelled due to frozen pitch.
Sounds like a bit of a farce this one. Wonder how blackbrook will feel all that travelling on a Sunday for nothing. What was wrong with Millom's pitch? I'm assuming frozen but surely this should have been called earlier given the forecasts!!!

That's nothing new with the Bank Quay Bullies!!! So glad East Leeds won;you've done us Yorkies proud.
Is it true that Bank Quay are about to lose a load of players due to John Braddish leaving as coach?
