With "so" - and I appreciate this is anecdotal - I have noticed it is something foreign people speaking English quite often do, and I wonder if we have started to adopt it.

Tim, See Rugby League In Its Own Words (page 14) ...So why am I, the spirit of Rugby League, talking.... Must have been a slip up!
