What's betting a lot of lads thought their game would be lost to the weather and made other arrangements?

Not sure mate, we moved our home game to a pitch about 10 metres higher above sea level than oursLot of 30-0s in there.

How did we manage Sunday mornings years agoWinter/Summer, whatever. Seems less lad want to play rugby on a Saturday. Absolute scandal.

Yes lads played saturdays and sundays in those days myself included but Like I have said many times it is not summer/winter it is just the way of life with the lads today not having the same attitude towards rugby. With other things getting in the way like shopping with the girlfriend (what is that all about !! )How did we manage Sunday mornings years ago

They have gone soft, we had one player who would only go on holiday to Brid or Skeggy so he could travel back for training and play on the weekend (his wife left him so he got anoter and is still playing at 53)Yes lads played saturdays and sundays in those days myself included but Like I have said many times it is not summer/winter it is just the way of life with the lads today not having the same attitude towards rugby.
