It is a great story for rugby league, it would be even greater if he was to make it first grade play for his country rather than NSW or Queensland.

what better recommendation, two of the games all time greats. looking forward to seeing him play.

Good luck to the lad.

Trouble with these good news stories is I always see the abbreviated Daily Telegraph link and get excited.

Only to be dashed when I see it's from a place where the game is actually given some respect.
