I used to work with a former professional footballer. He had been a very good player for Morton in Scotland and two English clubs came in for him. He chose Bradford Park Avenue because it was nearer to home than Chelsea.

A very good 24 hours for Bradford City - they've been reinstated into the FA Cup.

Didn't see that one coming, thought they were out full stop.

Of course, if this was Rugby League instead of Football, their reinstatement would see this thread immediately filled with complaints about too many fixtures and player burnout.

Not to mention favoritism.

When we signed Manase Manuokafoa the RFL tried to kick us out of the Challenge Cup ... for fielding an illegible player.

I don't get that. Normally the FA never allow "administrative error" as a get out.
Cheer up, RL is actually rather good

Not a fan of this decision and one wonders whether last night's result had an influence.

Good last night though. Stirring.
