Reminds me of when the Yorkshire woman died her old feller went to order a headstone for her grave. The monumental mason asked what wording he would like on the tablet.The letter "E"
"We'll she were quite religious so I'd like Lord she were Thine"
"No problem" the guy replied " Come back next Friday and I'll have it done"
When he returned to the shop the mason said "what do you think" as he proudly showed off his handiwork
The customer read it
"Lord she were Thin"
"No lad it won't do look you've left off the E"
"Oh so I have, don't worry there is plenty of room for me to add it on. Come back on Monday and it'll be reet"
After the weekend yer man returned, once again the mason proudly displayed his workmanship
"There you go what do you think now" he asked
The wording now read
Ee Lord she were thin.
