Thanks all, let's hope it's grabs the people's attention driving past it day in day out. Hunslet Hawks fixtures and logo on a 10ft by 5ft mobile advert next to the busiest road in South Leeds has to be a positive. Must say a big thanks to Andy Hemingway at Yorkshire Signs, really been invaluable to the club over the past year, look out for more signage and banners popping up in an area near you !

Excellent news, and to be honest, something we've been crying out for for a long time. Is the idea at this stage to move it around and plonk it down in, say two or three different sites every week? Needs a bit of thought as to which locations to be used (and no doubt, permission from the land owners or the council ...)

Yes we did, they removed last year because they weren't getting a fee from us to have it up, we approached them last month to ask them if we could have it back up, we siad we would pay for a new replacement and fitting of the sign, they said they would need to ask the committee, they came back a week later and said we could have it back up but it would cost us 1k a year!!!!! I think you can all guess what we decided to do! Nice of a local club to support its local sports team.

As for moving the sign, i think its an option but were happy were it is for now, its on one the busiest road into Leeds and will get some great exposure. Its the first of many signs we have planned. There will be a Giant Fixture poster up in Morrisions at the Penny Hill Center soon advertising our games as well so we are on the right track.

Does it come in Polish , Hindi , Urdu , Latvian & Slovakian lol , was driving up Low Road the other day & saw it , looks good guys , we had them outside York on A64 until a couple of years ago , good idea though , just hope it's bolted down opposite that estate lol

went past sign tonight apx 5.30 and it still has next fixture lazenby cup v leeds

its only 3 days to first home league fixture

i understood this signage was to promote next fixture and to attract supporters

pass it monday to friday. on my way back from work.

thousands pass the sign daily, it needs updating with correct fixture otherwise these so called new supporters or floating supporters wont know about sunday will they.

il be at game sunday.
