I got to thinking the other day whilst reading somebody's epitaph. 1. Sporting 2. Work

Mine would be:-

1. Sporting

Tried hard but didn't achieve his ambitions, Probably due to his shortcomings, in all aspects.

2.Work

He succeeded quite well. Looking through the other end of the telescope being his particular forte. He frequently saw things in a different light.

What would your epitaph be?

Ran hard, ran strong - but boy did he pong!

Here's a funny one I read the other day. Supposed to be true.
About a cowboy called Lester Moore. He was a Wells Fargo agent. in 1880

Here lies Lester Moore
Took 4 slugs from a .44
No Les No more

Funny old life. My comment not the gravestones.

Your epitaph then would read:

AND UNDERNEATH: CARE THE LID IS LOOSE WE COULDN'T SCREW IT DOWN
THIS GUY DIDN'T KNOW IF HE WAS COMING OR GOING

MIND YOU HE HAD TAKEN A HAMMERING.
