Seen the Hives and Cribs live. Both are great, Cribs better tunes (for me) but the hives better 'stage' presence.

Wouldn't mind seeing Amanda Palmer.
With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

THE WALL at the m.e.n fantastic, can't wait for next sept at wembley.

What does it mean
This tearjerking scene
Beamed into my home
That it moves me so much
Why all the fuss
It's only two humans being.

Seen The Hives many times. They're superb entertainers and an outstanding live band.

Gigs that spring to mind this year are Baroness at Sheffield Corporation, Bonafide at Yardbirds in Grimsby, Jim Jones Revue at Fibbers in York, Pentagram at Manc Academy and Nine Black Alps in Hull.
