My personal view is that 3 is enough. Anyway it seems to me there are only 2 blank Sundays. ie 30/12 & 27/1 before the Hunslet match.

I think freindlies are normally a shared gate so you need to pick a team that will bring a good few supporters otherwise there is little to be gained other than the bars and food outlets.

I hear it's likely to be Town, they seem to be finding it hard to organise friendlies so have come cap-in-hand to us

Keep the week prior to the Hunslet match for recovery, I get to see a few games whoop whoop

The winge tends to be because you lot never want to travel up here, you only travel when you really have to, thought coming from Barrow you would be glad of every opportunity to get out of the place! lol

I'm sure if you look back to last years post on your forum you will see all the moaning about always coming to Barrow to play friendlies.
Yes we only travel up there when we really have to, the same as anyone who's not form the ###### hole and seen as you come asking for a friendly why would we.

Its a bit weird to think that for Barrow to stay up in Championship the main thing they need to do is raise enough cash for new lights

I know we differ in opinions now and again Neil, but in my opinion you have to balance the fitness and possible injuries sustained in these friendlys again the amount raised for the club. You can ask too much of your players pre season with getting back to match fitness and with the additional games this year it is going to a long hard road for the guys...can't believe I'm going to say this..but I'm happy with just 3 games and I think we had it right..
Has anything been confirmed yet as I'm away at the moment and playing catch up.

yup 3 is enough but in response to Neil I think staying up on the field will be tough as well not just the lights problem.
