Tim Sheens, 62, doesn't seem to want to be shunted upstairs not that Mick Potter has taken over from him at Tigers as Head Coach.
As Sheens had 2 years left on his contract I expect Tigers were looking at any way to keep him onside once he'd lost the job he wanted within the club. By staying put they say he could have collected $450,000 due to him from the two year left on his contract.
According to reports, Sheens is about to leave Wests - moving on after about 10 years at the club, to focus on being the Australian national coach.
