Putting Hull at third might be somewhat over optimistic seeing as there's a fair few new additions who have to settle in.

Championships are far too unpredictable to pick an order as there are far too many factors in deciding what could happen. With my own club I honestly couldn't tell you where we will finish. It could be anywhere.

underachievers compared with what? Their potential given the coach and players? Who knows, maybe their potential will be realised this season.

All the bleating on Forums by Hull fans about previous directors and management their expectation is and always has been high but they they never live up to the hype, no excuses this coming season though this is now pearson ans Gentles team.

Why?

Wakefield were well beaten by just a couple of teams last year, other than that they were there or thereabouts in most games.
This year they're more settled from the very start of the season, everyone knows what's expected of them and the payers knw their weekly routines. A few ins and outs have the squad better balanced and at least one more signing to come yet. Attack wasn't much of an issue last year with the team rattling in around 30 points a game but defence was an issue because they averaged around the same number of points conceded.

I think Wakefield will be pushing for 7th or 8th but with a bit more comfort than last year.
