Deep into the close season, I have persuaded myself that Wigan's pack will be stronger for Taylor's addition and the younger lads being a year on, that Green is a step up on Finch (in our system) and that if Pat stays fit all year we'll overall be stronger on that side with Hughes inside him. I have also concluded that time will catch up with too many of Wire's players for them to top the league, while Leeds surely have too much talent and pride to lose to all and sundry again.

We ended the season on a relative high, if we can keep that going and build on it even slightly we'll avoid the spoon......if we're one place off the bottom that's all anyone will expect, if we're 2 or 3 places clear, I'll be a happy bunny
