Deep into the close season, I have persuaded myself that Wigan's pack will be stronger for Taylor's addition and the younger lads being a year on, that Green is a step up on Finch (in our system) and that if Pat stays fit all year we'll overall be stronger on that side with Hughes inside him. I have also concluded that time will catch up with too many of Wire's players for them to top the league, while Leeds surely have too much talent and pride to lose to all and sundry again.

Did the morons know the player was unconscious ??

17 man squad 14 homegrown players, no overseas with 3 players over 30 wood, carvel and higham

So sorry 14 kids beating a YET again poor widnes side!!

the season starts in 2 months or so and then we'll have this conversation then, when the likes of brown, hanbury, bricoe, cross etc etc are in the starting 13
"Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply.

Widnes need more than one man to save them!!

It's ok, there's at least 17 at Cas that can help us along ;0)

We ended the season on a relative high, if we can keep that going and build on it even slightly we'll avoid the spoon......if we're one place off the bottom that's all anyone will expect, if we're 2 or 3 places clear, I'll be a happy bunny

Rugby League is a sport that desperately needs to expand its geographical supporter base and its player base. This imperative means that all other requirements are secondary until this is done.

All power in the game should be with governing bodies, especially international governing bodies.

Without these actions we will remain a minor sport internationally and nationally.

then why was the wear filter activated? look back on my many posts over the last couple of years and you will have a pleasant surprise that i have only tipped 2 super league club for the title or challenge cup, both begin with W and both are from lancashire..............just wind your neck in and stop the petty sniping.....

Hoping that people are more interested about the handbags between VW and PMJ and don't look at my prediction. I had Huddersfield 9th.

So the Giants have indeed surpassed all expectations if this thread is anything to go by. There's a few accurate predictions in there though, most people seemed to have got Saints about right.

Well I had Leeds (3), Hull (6), Bradford (9) and Salford (14) bang on. The rest are unimportant in the grand scheme of things

Had Warrington down as GF winners so time will tell!

Yeah the Giants seem to have thrown everyone. Most people had them no better than 6th or 7th.

Well done to Bulldog 17 and NEC who were the only ones who got the top 8 teams right (although not in the right order.)
