Debating last night the order of Town coaches, I say Sorenson followed Walsh in the Centenary season. Then was it Tew foillowed by O Riley??
Time to get them yearbooks out Keith
Just going off memory so could well be wrong, but would go Sorenson, then O Reilly then Tew???
Thankfully as time goes by tend to forget those last two.

I was thinking that order but did O Riley last all super league and back into Division1 b4 getting the sack?

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Ashton n Walsh stand out to me in my time ... Can someone remind me of Dean Williams between them and his story ??
Dean was a kiwi second row forward who played for us for a couple of years. Took over as interim player-coach after Ashton was sacked.
