Good to see the legend Schofield reinforcing what we all know and praising Matty to the hilt in his RLE review of the year column . He calls him Champ. 1's best player and ' easily SL standard ' who'll make a big impact on the Championship . Then on the next page the bad news... about Mattys operation and time out . It really reminds us of two things . That the lad needs a bit of luck and a long injury free period which will boost us no end as we're not the same without him , and what kind of team we're gonna start the season with and how it may be a battle to get up n running very early , with the players out allied to the adjustment to the new level . Hopefully not though with a strengthened squad and Widnes assistance ...

Indeed , that's a given . Being SL standard should equal making a big impression at this level !! Staying on the paddock for the season is the bigger issue for us because it makes us a team on another level , he's that important . Good luck Matty you deserve it .
