a good game pity wakey could not control there tempers better but at least it showed commitment .
the new rules of course the scrum one was spoilt by the sending off but until teams learn to make set moves out of it then to early to say.
the 40m tap is a good move as it rewards good defence that keeps the oppositon team trapped in there own half who get out with a negative kick
the charge down rule i do like as it rewards the charge down which is under valued at present.

some good prefomances from the likes of mcshane, bailey.kirke and vickery with far to much effort been put into trying to give moon running chances instead of useing both wings . certainly some good shows from the younger leeds players especially singleton, balwinson and foster

it really was a pitty wakefield had a player sent off but there you go with a new player from australia trying to hard to impress

Really enjoyed the Leeds Wakey game, Justin Poore looks pretty good (what we saw of him), he was really aggressive in the tackle and trying to stamp his authority on the game, but he needs to be more disciplined with it. But I think he will become a cult hero for Wakefield fans, and a target for other teams wind up merchants!

Ryan Bailey introduced himself early on and received a shove from Poore after the play the ball. Bailey just continued his job of slowly winding him up, nigglng in the tackle, until he got what he wanted which resulted in Wakey being a man down. Bailey is absolutely brilliant at the job he's given, he niggles and annoys and winds up the opposition, putting them off their game.

Overall was pleased with the Leeds performance, a fair few young lads on debut for us went well. Moon looked good, great flick pass for Joe Vickery (on trial) for his second try, Achurch went well other than the sin binning, Vickery looked good at both wing and full back so id definitely offer him a contract.

Just a really enjoyable game to watch, cant wait for the new season now!

My word, Poore must have one hell of a reach on him.

He's a big lad too, looked like he wanted to announce his arrival in Super League a bit too much! But he was definitely good value for the time he was on, if it was in Blue and Amber and moved he was steaming out the line to smash them!

Im already looking forward to Poore v Bailey round 2, and then his battles with the other hot heads and wind up merchants in SL!!

we lost 30-22 to the dire after having 4 players crocked during the game, i must congratulate the warrington fans for being an insult to rugby league by mocking and taunting stefan marsh when he was out cold on the pitch after being knocked out.................
"Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply.
