Yup. Skolars a couple of seasons ago down there. Pretty sure he was on line for Hunslet home last season and. of course, in opposition when he was playing for Fax.

Press last night sounded like we will be putting out a very strong side so hopefully
a big attendance & plenty of cash raised.

Not to bothered what team we put out Shades will be glad just to see some live rugby league, weather for Sunday looks ok so hope we get a bumper crowd and raise some cash.

Agree there - Brown & Presley at half back, Golden & Scott in 2nd row.

Agree there - Brown & Presley at half back, Golden & Scott in 2nd row.

Shades i am expecting big things from Brown and Presley this season,if they gel they have the potential to be one of the best half back combinations in the championship ,no problem with Scott and Golden to start at second row, pity we dont have Hardbottle yet, hope we can get him fit quickly and into the squad when he arrives quality player, Sunday can't come quick enough now chewing at the bit.

Tries from Tom Carr (over from play the ball close to line), Fordy ( along line out to left wing ), Jas Golden 2 ( one widish on left in first half - other best try of game, Brown to Presley and nice inside pass, Jas in from 25m on right), Tyler Craig ( over from close to posts from play the ball ).
Good try from Select - great up n under from Liam Gargan, Carr let it bounce, it jagged back to Gargy following up and he fed Jordan Hyde in on left.

Just like to add my congratulations to the york select, i thought they played some excellent entertaining rugby yesterday and gave the Knights a real test and had they been a fitter squad feel the score line might have been closer pressed our line a few times yesterday
but just could not breakdown our defence, well done everyone good day, pity more did not come to watch it missed some good rugby league.
