I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen
The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

I also saw Gloucestershire Warriors win a Challenge Cup game against the odds in Yorkshire against Illingworth.
That was a great game with a really exciting finish. Despite the Warriors being our closest local rivals, it was brilliant to see a young, non-heartland team get a Challenge Cup scalp.
I was at the 2008 World Cup Final in Brisbane, which was an amazing game with a brilliant result - I still get goosebumps when thinking about it. Other "historic" games - the Sonics' first appearance in the Challenge Cup sticks in the memory. We were comfortably beaten in the end by Leeds Met, but opened the scoring and did OK, in front of a big crowd with the Challenge Cup itself present on the sidelines. Being at Sheffield Eagles first game after being rescued following the merger, against Lancashire Lynx, was also special. See also the 1998 Challenge Cup final (obviously), the game where we beat Perth Reds at Don Valley, and our first ever win over Wigan (also at DVS). For different reasons the game where Bradford won the SL title at Don Valley was also special - so many Bradford fans there, with a 10,000-plus attendance, really made for a good atmosphere.

Incidentally, I took a mate to the game for his first taste of RL and he was hooked. Eight and a half years on he's a regular matchgoer and even wants his stag do to be based around a game later this year.

I went to the 1980 semi at Headingley Hull KR v 'Fax, the Humber Bridge had been damaged in a storm and all the 'Fax fans were singing "Your f***ing bridge fell down. ( to Those were the days tune!) Great craic.
The 1982 Challenge Cup Final replay at Elland Road - sell out again, and my lad then aged 7's first game of RL. Great night and the last time I saw Sully play. The following season Fev's game in the Challenge Cup with Batley was off because of the weather, so i took him to Fairburn Ings where we saw a Hooper swan, then to Belle Vue to see Wakey play someone - can't remember who, but I know Maskill scored a try that impressed him.
The game I missed in the run to the CC final was the semi at Headingley and Ellery's try - I was in London for a posh wedding - top hat, reception at the Savoy no less! I went to Wembley, and promised the lad I take him "next time" He's 38 next month and still waiting! But the final was great.

That match was at Belle VueOh, and that Cas v Wakey relegation decider a few years ago at Wheldon Road. Good local derby with masses riding on it.

I was at Swinton for Fev's game in 1992 and that was towards the end of football there - March I think. I was also at Gigg Lane the following season. I'm sure Paul Newlove scored his hundredth try there - or was it at Spotland? Could have been. For a left field one apart from Finals and Tests etc the last game of RL at Station Road Swinton, Accrington V Peterborough in a friendly.

Probably because the only time they announced the teams was when they came out before the kick off.I was there, it was an awful game, can't remember who they played though.

I had been at Boothferry Park in1982 watching the Australians playing a different sport. Watching Hull KR beat Queensland the following year was just as memorable!
