The clash between the Knights and the best amateur players in the City is to be brought back this coming Sunday (January 6th) after a three-year absence, with a significant donation of the match proceeds going to Boxing Bowel Cancer. The charity is a fund set up in aid of young mum Christine Caldwell, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Christine is a teacher at Carr Infant School, and is the wife of York Acorn prop forward Nic Caldwell, who will be one of the managers of the 2013 Select team.
There has unsurprisingly been great interest in this match which has always provided a close exciting game, and only one hospitality box remains available, so if you would like to host up to ten of your friends or work colleagues in style at this special game please get in touch with Ross Potter (Ross@ycknights.co.uk) as soon as possible.
With a hospitality box at the Knights you receive:
- Access to the sponsors lounge
- A pre-match meal for ten people
- Complimentary match day programmes with company accreditation
- Tannoy announcements
Regular entry to the game is also specially priced for this match.
In a change to past seasons, the main turnstiles open at 2pm and the Jockey Lane entrance is now ticket only, and is open from 2:30pm.
Access to Bar 13 is available from 12:30pm to anyone via stairs from main reception at Huntington Stadium.
A big donation from the proceeds of this game will go to Boxing Bowel Cancer, so please come and show your support!
